WLL week 4 /SUB week 7- Laura
WLL week 4: up 0.8 to 196
Not sure what is happening with my weight loss efforts since Memorial day. I wonder if the anticipation of Saturday's wedding (step-son) is causing a bit of stress. I know I have been hitting the WOW chips a bit too often lately. I also realized that our twice weekly outings to the club had my eating somewhat out of control. So last night I took a bag of Light butter popcorn with our dinner of chicken breast (to grill) and green veggies (to nuke). I only had 3 shrimp in addition to the popcorn shared by 3 of us. This kept me from sampling the other snacks that people brought to share. I usually bring a plate of veggies but lately that does not seem to stop me from sampling the salty snacks. For dessert, one of my friends who is doing the South Beach diet brought an extra SF Fudge pop. So while mom ate Blueberry coffee cake I had a melted fudge pop. The upcoming wedding reception should use up my flexpoints for the week in one fell swoop. They are doing a Clam bake type luncheon complete with lobster. As long as I keep the amount of butter to a bare minimum I might do okay. But who can eat lobster without butter? This will be a real challange. SUB week 7: 4 days (3 walks & 1 water aerobics) The amount of exercise has been increased this week. The pool is finally open and I am doing the water aerobics 3x a week plus we are taking our evening walks most evenings. Hopefully that will help my weight loss efforts. -- ~~Laura~~ 245.6/196/140 196.6/196/188 WLL started 4/21/03 |

That's what I am hoping too. I guess butter is one more bad habit to break
this summer. "Fred" wrote in message ... I have eaten clams, crab and lobster without BUTTER for years. The meat is already so perfect, it needs nothing to assist it down. OK, so not the greatest week, but one full of good decisions - the change to
your meal out for starters. Not to mention the aquar aerobics. 3x a week has to be a good thing! Thanks Krys. Tomorrow will be a challange. I might just sneak the "I can't
beleive its not butter" spray in my camera bag. Then I can enjoy the lobster and corn on the cob without sacricing flavor. Now I have to figure out how much cake I can afford. g The water aerobics has been great. The instructor really works us hard too. Alternates working on arms and legs and I can already see a difference in my arm. -- Laura "krys" wrote in message ...
