Getting A Handle On Love Handles
Why is is we can suddenly wake up one morning, examine our midsection
and after pinching the roll, get on one? There are times when you just dive into dieting as required like wielding a mop to a grungy kitchen floor. At those times one can plow through temptation like a steam roller or a Mack truck. At other times it is not even possible to make it to lunchtime without a total collapse of resolve and the ubiquitious pledge to start tomorrow or certainly Monday:-( I've never figured it out. -- Diva ****** There is no substitute for the right food |

I wish I could figure this out too, Carol. You are right -- there is nothing
like a roll rising from the waistband to say, "Uh-oh, it's not fun or funny anymore -- time to get back on the stick." Had one (and more) of those moments this week and I am back on the bandwagon. Part of it, too, is sticking to healthy food so I don't get junk cravings. I firmly believe in the axiom, "You don't crave what you don't eat." Mary "Carol Frilegh" wrote in message ... I've never figured it out either Carol. If you ever do, let me know I can go for 6 or 7 months on my WOE, losing weight all along, and then when I fall off the wagon it can take months and months to even do 2 days in a row. janice |
