Don't ask me for a cite, because it's been many years since I
read this, but a study was commissioned (by the space people) on
the nutritive value of snot. They found that it wasn't a
significant source of nutrients.

Where's our snot expert, anyway (on rfc)? I haven't read
anything from her a a while now.

There was a show on TLC a while back where some explorers went into
these caves and discover a slimy gel-like bacteria that hung from
the cave walls. They named them "Snot-tites." I'm not making this
up.

Probably also reducing your sense of smell. Usually after I flush my
sinuses, the first thing I realize that the cat-box needs changing.

Be careful - too much causes upset stomach.

Beverly - who has suffered with sinus problems since I was a
teenager.




Not to outdo anybody, but I've had sinuses from hell since I was 8.
I still have trouble with 8's and 9's in multiplication tables
because I missed those two weeks in school.

That's is wild because I had the exact same thing happen to me. I missed so
much school because of my sinus infections. I still have such drainage
that accumulates in my stomach and nothing will stop it. You can't outdo
me!
