Default REDISCOVERED WARDROBE -- AND THEY FIT!!!

I was just going through my closet and found a BUNCH of of jeans in
several different colors -- and 11 of 15 of them actually FIT me now
(one of them is even too big)!!! I've been putting off getting new
jeans until I lost more weight. Then I decided to wait for Labor Day
sales since I planned to buy at least 5 pairs, but then I suddenly have
to move, so shopping is a low priority at the moment. Still, I was
toying with the idea of at least going to a thrift store to find
something to fit in the meantime because all my other pants were getting
so big they were starting to slide down alarmingly. I really have taken
them in about all they can be taken in and I'm really too busy these
days to do any sewing.

I THOUGHT I had way more jeans from the past in my closet, but when I
looked I only found about 3 pairs and they were too small (now I have to
find THEM again). Somehow, the stash I found today just magically
showed up (right where I had looked for them in the FIRST place -- I was
probably so used to ignoring them that they became invisible to me like
part of the closet floor). I'm going to soak them in OxyBrite all night
to get out the mildewy odor, and if it works, I'm giving away or tossing
ALL of my old jeans (and I have a LOT of them)!

An added bonus: some of them are flared, which is in style right now.
I've been wearing mostly pegged-style jeans because that's what I had
that fit me. The waist on most of them is lower than I like, but they
aren't low-rise. It just goes to prove the old adage: If you hold onto
something long enough, it WILL come back into style :-) I think these
are from the early to mid-80s :-)

Sound like fun I've held on to all my favourit 'slimmer me' clothes, and
when I started LCing agin I took them all out and sorted them into sizes so
I couod see what I had to look forward to, and have been giving away all of
my bigger clothes as I shrink out of them

Saffire -

Nice going, I have some of those things floating around somewhere
here, probably in the attic closet. I think I'm going to bring a
couple of different sized pairs downstairs to store. Good way to
start the weekend.

Ain't it wonderful?

I now fit a Levi's jacket that is so small, it must be a quarter century
old. It is in perfect condition after years of storage.

Congrats! I bet it feels wonderful. I have 6 more lbs to lose. I am
losing very slowly---it is frustrating. I don't see or feel a difference in
my clothing, either. How is your moving coming along?

Hi, Tara!

I hope noone minds us piggy backing...

Morgan is doing well, thank you!!! She is coming up on her 18 month mark!
Can you believe it?

She's tall, dark and cute. Morgan seems a bit advanced in her communication
and verbal skills. I absolutely adore her.

As you can see from my sig line, I'm back at it. Only this time I'm taking
it one day at a time, not beating myself up.

I'm determined to be at goal on my 5 year anniversary on the ASDLC.

How are you and your family??? Any pictures????

Here are some pics: http://tinyurl.com/b9e9r
