Well folks I'm down to my last 3 boxes of the wonderful Atkins morning
start Blueberry. They are already 3 years out of date, but I've been
hoarding and doling them out as long as possible. I found a really good one
in Trader Joes high fiber bran, but they've been out of stock the last
month. I feel paranoid all over again!

Wow.....I bet it the new Atkins company knew how you hoarded this stuff
they'd reintroduce the product. I admit to also enjoying that stuff.

Make me #3. I also liked it and bought it. Sure miss it. Nothing
currently on the market matches up with it.

Me too. I still have a couple boxes left. It was very good for any
cereal. You'd never know it was LC. The funny thing with the ATkins
Co. is that they discontinued the unique products where there was no
competition. And they kept making the bars and shakes where there is
lots of competition.

I don't like their bars and don't bother with shakes. The bars just have
this "off" taste to me.

I agree. There's nothing like "artificial chocolate" made with "artificial
sugar". bleah!

I enjoy FlaxZSnax Wild Cherry Nut Granola. Great with milk or as a
topping for yogurt. It has some sugar alcohols, but loads of fiber,
and I find it very flavorful. You could once find it everywhere, but
now have to order it from netrition.com.

The best bars Atkins made were the wild berry granola ones. I still
have a bunch of them that I got for maybe 25C a piece on Ebay when
everything was crashing. I agree, the rest of them weren't that
good. And those I see selling for $2 a pop in stores. Amazing that
people would pay that much for them.

The shakes are OK. I have some sitting around, but rarely use them,
which is why they are still here. They are good if you don't have
time and just want something quick when headed out the door.

So, I agree with you. Except for the closeout stuff I got on Ebay, I
haven;t bought any Atkins bars or shakes in years.

Yes that stuff is great, but not LC at all..... especially if you eat 1/2
a bag at a time!
