Default Lunch

I'm still struggling to empty my freezer before we move.

Lunch:

Frozen:
10 shrimps
1/2 cup pepper strips
1/4 cup corn
1 can diced tomatoes (drained)
Chicken broth (enough to cover it all up).

Throw everything in the pot with cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper and a
little saffran. Cook a few minutes (until shrimps are done). Et voila.

Surprisingly it was very good, and huge for about 3-4 pts.

one of the best/worst times of the year is when it gets close to time to
defrost the big freezer... we have very creative and unusal meals, Lee

Gets a bit like my mum's stpory of the anonymous cans during the war...
Ship of canned goods went down in the harbour close to where she
lived. All the paper labels came off the cans, so no-one knew what was
in them. You could buy a few at a time (priced by weight, but no ration
coupons needed), but had to guess what was in them by shape. Ham and
Spam were usually a reasonable bet, but plain standard shaped cans could
be anything from peaches to beef stew! So the kids got to pick a can,
and whatever was opened the meal was built round that...
