Food & Exercise -- 7/16/2007
Went to the gym as usual this morning. Afterward DH and I went to the
shopping mall (I was looking for a dress at JC Penney -- something I saw in a magazine and loved -- but of course they didn't have it :- (. ) Anyway, we had lunch at a huge sushi/seafood buffet (Todai -- a chain -- www.todai.com) -- ate a lot! I wanted to swim this afternoon but as soon as I got to the pool there was thunder, which, by local law, requires a mandatory 45-minute closing (and every subsequent thunder clap resets the clock). Rather than waiting, I just came back home -- and there was more thunder off and on throughout the afternoon anyway -- though no rain as yet. Food: * 6:30 (home): oatmeal w/ peanut butter & flax seed * 10:45 (gym, between lifting & yoga): energy breakfast bar * 1:00 (sushi buffet): ~6-8 pieces of sushi or sushi roll; very small servings of ~6-8 different hot entrees; ~6-8 bite-sized desserts * 8:45 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices f/f cheese & grated manchego; 1 glass wine Exercise: * 10:00: Lifting: chin-up negatives; bent-over barbell rows; cable fly/ press combination; decline DB press; decline DB overhead triceps extension; DB shoulder press; curls w/ EZ Curl bar standing on rounded side of BOSU ball * 11:00: 75-minute yoga class, focus on core Chris 262/130s/130s |
