This article from the Orlando Sentinel highlights the addiction to Coke
products and cites the caffeine added to the product as a means of providing
the addiction. Just wondering, how many Cokes do you drink in a week? or
coffees?

I drink Diet Pepsi, usually 1-2 per day. Lately it's been more, and
I'm thinking I should perhaps cut back a bit.

I drink about 1 diet soda/week - if that. I have coffee daily - one cup.

I
love the taste of coffee, but am so caffeine sensitive that if I have a

cup
later than about 1:00 PM I can't go to sleep right away. Absolutely

cannot
drink real coke, even though I love it. The combo of sugar and caffeine
puts me on the ceiling! My youngest is allergic to corn and one of the
worst offenders is regular soda - anything with corn syrup. I am forced

to
buy him diet soda, which he adores and drinks about 1 can per day. I wish
one of the big soda manufacturers would switch to Splenda. Elise

Diet Rite is pretty easy to get most places. It's all caffeine free,
sodium free, and made with Splenda.

Elise, they sell this at Giant -- at least the one in Gainesville. It
doesn't get much shelf space compared to Coke & Pepsi, though, so you
have to hunt for it.

A few diet cokes a week. 2 cups of coffee (big ones) a day, decaf at night.
1 diet mt. dew code red a week. During the summer I was up to 4 cans of
diet code red a day so I had to quit.

You know that cokes have caffeine, right? Unless you buy decaf diet coke, of
course.

I hardly ever drink sodas. But when I do, it's Diet Coke, or Diet Vanilla
Coke or Diet Dr. Pepper. One of the three.

But coffee rules. I buy freshly roasted beans and grind what I need daily. I
loathe lousy coffee.

Since I typically only drink decaf Diet Coke, caffeine isn't the
addictive agent for me.

Have you tried Diet Rite or Diet RC? Both are made with Splenda, not
Aspartame. IMO, they both have a much cleaner taste and less aftertaste.
The Diet Rite is caffeine free and the Diet RC isn't.

Thanks..I'll get some today. One day Giant is going to charge me rent I am
there so much. I have not perfected the art of a weekly shopping trip.
Shoot...I just discovered coupons after years of just tossing them. Elise

2 or 3 cups of green tea every morning and 3 diet cokes a day.

I like Diet Rite and switch it in for CF Diet Coke every so often. I
think I'd get sick of anything if it was the only thing I drank.

lol, I hate coupons too.... so much work and keeping track of everything to
save $.10.

Anyway, I hate that all the stores require you to have a membership card now
to get discounts. I always fill mine out with the name Jane Doe and phone
number of 214-555-1212. I then throw away my card. So, when I go through
check out, they just need the phone number on the card. No, I am not
paranoid. It just annoys me that stores do that.
