My current weight: 163.6 lbs
Weight change since my last recorded weight: -1.4 lbs
Total weight change to date: -68.4 lbs

Alrighty then! I'm closing in on my next mini-goal of 70 lbs total
loss. Sybil's still wondering how any of this is happening, but she's
feeling rather quiet today. I think exercise distracts her. G This
week, I did the unimaginable and exercised no less than SIX times.
That's a personal record. The variety of exercise kept things
interesting: snow shoveling, BodyPump at the Y, aerobics videos, and
toning DVDs. I'm still loving my fitness ball.

I splurged and bought a carton of Skinny Cow ice cream last weekend,
and then followed Joyce's example of weighing my evening dessert
portion. Portion control over ice cream using measuring cups just
ain't happening for me; but weighing my portions worked fine for me
this week. So far so good: I've still got more than half a carton in
the freezer. Maybe I've found a way to have my ice cream and eat it
too.

Thanks. I keep finding out that it doesn't matter what Sybil thinks or
says. As long as I keep working the program, the excess weight will
continue to come off, despite her craziness. The best news for me is
that Sybil, even though she remains an ever-present voice, no longer
controls my life.

Yes, until Joyce said she ALWAYS weighs ice cream portions instead of
using measuring cups, the idea had never occurred to me. It was a
revelation!

Thanks Connie.

I hope you like your exercise ball as much as I enjoy mine. Even if I
don't get an entire routine in, or use an alternate program, just
using the ball at the end of the day to flex and stretch my back is so
relaxing and invigorating at the same time.

Congrats on another loss and closing in on that next mini-goal,
Syb-Roots!

Just was talking about the carton of skinny cows to friends at
breakfast (a dangerous meal out) and mentioned I will not succumb
since portion control is still a real issue when it comes to desserts
like ice cream. The individual sandwiches, yes, free rein scoops - no
way.

Hiding from the 41F rains.

Way to go, PR. Seems like you have nice and steady losses, which is great!
And well done on the exercise, 6 times is absolutely brilliant!

Thanks Elaine. We'll see how well I do measuring ice cream over the

Good job this week. I know what you mean about weighing/measuring your ice
cream. I find it easier and much more safer to by the indiv portions of ice
cream. I just can't see my self weighing it. Too much tempation to take "a
little bit more".

Say hi to Sybil for me. She sounds like a winner g.
