I found the Atkins book to be full of self-grandisment and basically not
getting to the point but I got a really good kick start with a book called
protein power by Michael and Mary Eades.

After I read that book I used the www.atkins.com web site and did massive
research from many different angles using their search engine to ask
specific questions.

I did finally buy the protein power book on e-bay after returning the
library copy.

Don't think I would have been successful without protein power or
www.atkins.com ... combined they did the trick for me.

Here's a webpage that has short summaries of several LC books:

Hey Katie! I'm on AS3 too. As to your question, I don't think anyone here
is doing a "no-carb" diet. It's LOW carb, not no carb. Carbs are in
everything except meat, and we don't just eat meat.

I am pretty close All I can eat is meat nuts and veggies and cheese. I have a
bunch of food allergies and I can't find anything else I can eat.
