Do you remember how long you'd been on Atkins before noticing hair loss?

I'm not exactly sure.. but it was at least several months. I started on June
1st last year, and I think I started noticing my hair falling out while
shampooing sometime in
September or October. I had lost 30 lbs at that point.
Sometime this May I was getting a haircut and the stylist complimented my
healthy hair.. and it made me realize that it was back! lol.. hadn't noticed
that I wasn't worried by it anymore I guess!

I'm in the same boat. I started late April, have lost 40 lbs. since, and have
just noticed it this month.

I feel SO SICK from eating carbohydrates. I feel nauseous; my body didn't like
that at all. A bagel w/ cream cheese, yogurt, green tea, orange juice... what
was I THINKING?!

What form of Biotin did you take? How much? How often?

lol, on newsgroups, it's usually acceptible to have a link as a signature. As
long as you aren't intentionally spamming the whole board.

I'm just trying to get one for Christmas for a friend, who's been through hell
and back these past two years (loss of a parent, loss of her cat, medical
problems - it almost sounds unreal, like a soap opera - but life just keeps
dealing her one blow after the next). I can always remove the link if you'd
prefer, and if I can't get it, when mine comes, I won't open it & just save it
for her.

I'm still taking it!
I am taking 1000 mg a day. Just one pill a day with the Spring Valley
(Walmart) brand.

It does list Dextrose as an ingredient but I've never been out of ketosis from
it and I'm a diabetic and still have it under control.. has to be a VERY
minimal amount.

Good luck!

Dextrose is glucose, but I bet it's a very small amount.
