Default Day 29 -- still the same, and back on track!

Day 29 and scale at 227 .

Actually, not too bad for me given the excess of calories I had in a
Friday poker game (with pizza and beer) I held in our house.
(Nickel-dime poker, with a maximum raise of 15 cents. I was the big
loser, I think, with perhaps seven dollars gone.) I had planned this
about a month and a half ago, and we all have a great time. And the
next night – this past Saturday – I probably also had several thousand
calories before, during, and after a great get-together with friends.

So, with the scale hovering at 227, it's not that bad a showing. Still
down 9 pounds in 29 days and still focused on dieting and exercise.

Yesterday had 350 calories (although I used up more than 400
additional calories going up my little hill and later working several
hours at a nearby school getting it ready to open). I slept poorly
last night, which is one of the drawbacks for me of calorie
limitations. I hope to have under 500 calories again and hope to be in
the 200-teens by the time mid-October rolls around.

I hope everyone has a great week ahead! Whatever it takes to be "good
enough for long enough!"

Yours,

Caleb
