Does anyone else on this board also have trouble getting away from the table
when you're full, or is it just me? |

I don't think it is just you, but I have not experienced wanting food beyond
the point of feeling full. It seems like a contradiction to me. I want it or I don't. If I don't want it anymore, it is because I am full. If I still want it, I'm not full yet. ??? My guess is that your body is lacking something, thus triggering the behavior. Dave http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/LowCarbHighFat/ "Aplin17" wrote in message ... I "plate" food in the kitchen rather than serving at the table, for shear laziness reasons of not wanting to wash serving dishes, mostly. But it also cuts down on the temptation to have 2nds, either because they're readily "there," or because there's just a smidgen of something left in the serving dish and "someone should finish it off." I don't do that only because I'm the only one watching my portions, but we do use measuring cups as serving utensils. Jenn |

Does anyone else on this board also have trouble getting away from the table when you're full, or is it just me? Depends on what is being served. |

Depends on what is being served Yup. Sometimes it just tastes like "more." A strategy that works for some people is to leave a small amount on their plate at each meal--a forkfull of this, a teaspoon of that. It helps train your brain and your tummy as to what "full" feels like. Amy My dog loves this strategy! But she could lose some. -- Diva ***** The Best Man For The Job Is A Woman |
