Hi everyone. this weekend my hubby is making pizza for about 30 exchange student from all over the world. He is willing to make a low carb pizza for me but doesn't really know how. So does anyone have a LC pizza dough recipe for me? I would like to use flax meal in it and splenda. Another question....does the yeast still make the dough rise with splenda instead of sugar? I don't have a recipe for low-carb dough, but how about putting your toppings on a whole-wheat pita? Yeah, I know it's not the same as home-made crust, but if you can't find a recipe for LC dough... The recipe should be on the website. Also, there are boxed LC pizza dough mixs available at the supermarket or health food store. |

Thanks for all your replies everyone. I really appreciate it. I have tried
the tortilla thing and I don't like how they get hard on the edges, but still good advice. The pita is a thought that I may try if I don't find LC pizza mix. Also the parchment paper sounds like it will work just fine too. So, I have many ways to choose from thanks to all of you. Thanks! Hugs, Tonya www.lowcarbcrew.com "Carol" wrote in message ... I just put shredded mozzarella on parchment paper, then put on whatever toppings I want (usually just pepperoni). Nuke it, and eat it with a fork. No carby crust, no carby tomato. Works for me. YMMV Carol |

You could have the toppings and skip the crust, or put the toppings on a cooked meat pattie and pop it under the broiler. I haven't had any LC pizza dough, so can't help you there, but hopefully someone else has a good crust idea. Have a fun weekend. Or she could just eat the god-damn pizza. If one single meal is going to **** up your weight loss plans you really do have problems. |

Of course she could, but her question wasn't about how to eat the whole
God Damned pizza and not **** up her diet plan, now was it? Speaking of problems, maybe you need to get your own house in order. You sound a little hostile to me. What about issues like BG control? Why don't you find some where else to troll. |

Even thin crust pizza still has quite a few grams of carbs. -- Bob M remove ".x" to reply |
