Default Food & Exercise -- 11/6/2006

Went to the gym in the morning, then out to lunch w/ DH. We ate a
little Chinese bakery that, along with serving light lunches and
selling pastrie, makes pies and cakes to order. We ordered an apple
pie and a chocolate ganache cake to take to Thanksgiving dinner w/
DH's family. After lunch I made a quick grocery store trip, then
spent the rest of the day at home.

Food:

* 7:45 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese & 10g grated parmesan
* 9:45 (driving to gym): Tootsie Pop
* 12:45 (Chinese bakery): 1 cup tomato soup; 1 large steamed pork bun
(w/ about 2 oz. roast pork)
* 5:00 (home): 2 fiber rye crackers
* 7:45 (home): 4 oz. ground turkey breast burge on whole wheat
hamburger bun w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup
* 11:00 (home -- planned): 250g f/f Greek yogurt w/ 100g strawberries

Totals: 1350 calories, 28g fat (19%), 147g carbs (44%), 134g protein
(40%)

Exercise:

10:00 -- Upper Body: chin-up negatives; machine-assisted pull-ups; lat
pulldowns; machine rows; DB bench press; standing cable fly/press
combo; DB shoulder press; DB curls; seated overhead DB triceps
extension; triceps pressdowns; machine-assisted dips

11:00 -- 75 minute vinyasa yoga class

It's a kind of lollipop with a soft chocolate center:
http://www.tootsie.com/pops.html.

We bought a bag for trick-or-treat giveaways and have a bunch left
over, so I've been eating them :-). We purposely bought something we
wouldn't be likely to finish off at one sitting or something -- not
that I'd be likely to anyway, but DH might.

I've been getting a laugh out of seeing "Tootsie Pop" in the middle of
Chris's menu the past couple of days. Nothing wrong with the occasional
Tootsie Pop! Except for the fact that they have been known to yank the
fillings right slap out of a person's head . . . .
