He guarantees 16-20lbs of weight lost each month. If it works for you,
great. But I don't think I should have to pay to lose weight.

Did it bother you that JC proclaimed I was "fat" with no information?

not really, since i don't take any of that sort of thing seriously.

Seems your affection for JC is such that it caused you to quickly ink up
the quill in preparation for a write-off.

Further in the same post...

since you don't read all of his posts you really don't
know what you're talking about. he *does* offer up
perfectly valid help, and sometimes he's even kind of
nice about it.

Her point wasn't that he never offers anything helpful. Her point was that
any good he does is severely undermined by the bad he does. Given that I
know you're smart enough to get that, it appears that your affection for JC
is quite a hurdle for you to get over when it comes to being objective.

And yet further in the same post...

your view on the situation is quite distorted and for
me, that undermines your credibility.

So when Saffire says something about JC, it appears to undermine
credibility as a person -- across all subjects. Saffire isn't sure if you
mean it that way, or just that it undermines credibility when it comes to
JC. So we get...

I think I have it. When it comes to saffire's "wild proclamations" (which
were never wild proclamations to begin with), they cause you not to take
future statements seriously, and undermines credibility. However, JC's
"wild proclamations" get a pass and don't cause his credibility to suffer
in your eyes.
