Default Time to 'fess up - RAFL

OK, so I finally have the guts to post my weight again, and to sign up for
RAFL... After the bronchitis I had before Christmas I didn't manage to get
OP anymore...ate too much at Christmas ( which we happen to celebrate 3
times in the family, and each time with delicious and way too much food).
Ate too much on NY's eve, then we had a huge cheese platter (my downfall!)
on NY's day, and then we celebrated mum's birthday in a fancy restaurant...
can you tell we are a gourmet family?
The damage : I managed to gain 12 pounds! I weighed in on Monday morning and
found I was quite disgusted with myself... anyway, as I 've read here often
before, the good thing here is that we know how to get back on track and we
just do it.
I 'll take 232 as my starting weight.
And after 5 days OP I weighed in on Friday again (my official WI day) and
was happy to see I had already lost 2.3! I 'm back in the saddle and feel
good about it. It always calms me down to get back on track, it 's as though
the point system is giving me structure in my life. Like Lee experienced,
being OP also means I start decluttering again : my wardrobe is empty and i
have 4 huge bags of clothes to give away! The only problem is I have nothing
to wear anymore... so I will have to go shopping today.
On an exercise note I bought a fancy stationary bike which was delivered
yesterday. I immediately did one of their programmes and really enjoyed
myself!
Amberle, these are my official stats so far:
starting weight 232
1st WI 229.7
goal 212 ( ambitious, I know!)
Centimeters :
chest 105, waist 95, hips 120
Wish me luck, I will need it!

Hi Nathalie,

So sorry to hear about the gain, but glad to hear that you have recovered.
And congrats on having the guts to post the gain. Good luck on the
challenge.

Well done on getting yourself back on program after the involutary
break. Also on your great progress to get rid of the holiday gain.
You've got some great NSVs here as well: needing smaller clothes,
starting an exercise regime. You GO, Nathalie!

I've had it around for years and post it occasionally in the right
circumstance. I use to use it regularly on a BBS system's bike
conference (fido, perhaps) before the internet/web killed bbs'. Now
mailing lists have re-occurred to almost the same outcome.

Look on the bright side Nathalie - at least you haven't given up. You're
already on the way to losing it all and more! Good luck for the coming
weeks. I know you can do it!
