When you see a fatso hosting a cooking show, does it make you hate
food? Or does the sight of a fatty entice you to watch the show,
figuring wow, the food (s)he prepares must be really yummy?

Will you give us an example of such a show? Maybe "fatso" is in the eye
of the beholder.

Pompous Bowtie Man is not, nor ever has been, any kind of cook, chef,
or culinary professional. He's a jounalist/publisher out to scarf
your money. At that, he is very successful.

It just makes me want to change the channel. Of course every
cooking show has that effect on me.

You have enough spare time in your life to actually watch
all these people? Wow! You must not have anything else to
keep you busy.
