Default Ending Meals

Does anyone else on this board also have trouble getting away from the table
when you're full, or is it just me?

Dunno. I've never been full. That's my whole problem

Define "addict" please?

When a person is missing something from their life, such as the ability to
handle an emotion or a feeling that some need is not being fulfilled, they
turn to other, often unhealthy ways of fulfilling that need, and then obsess
with the behavior. Smoking, drinking, drugs, a co-dependent relationship,
over-eating, masturbation, etc. (No, wait, masturbation doesn't belong on
that list. Does it? [blush])

How's your eyesight these days?

I don't think it is just you, but I have not experienced wanting food beyond
the point of feeling full. It seems like a contradiction to me. I want it
or I don't. If I don't want it anymore, it is because I am full. If I
still want it, I'm not full yet. ???

My guess is that your body is lacking something, thus triggering the
behavior.

I "plate" food in the kitchen rather than serving at the table, for shear
laziness reasons of not wanting to wash serving dishes, mostly. But it
also
cuts down on the temptation to have 2nds, either because they're readily
"there," or because there's just a smidgen of something left in the
serving
dish and "someone should finish it off."

I don't do that only because I'm the only one watching my portions, but we
do use measuring cups as serving utensils.

Depends on what is being served.
