Default Up a lb?

I was up one pound this morning. How can this happen when I didn't go over
my points since I started? I also walked 4.2 miles yesterday in addition to
my regular daily exercise. I'm post menopausal so it's not hormonal.

It may just be a temporary water gain from so much exercise.

It's going to happen, sometimes you know exactly why, sometimes you don't,
it's part of the game

Keep on going on..

Hey LW......great that you are able to exercise so much, but please don't
expect a miracle weight loss due to your activity......give it time and the
weight will come off..............your body may be in turmoil right now and
it may be hanging on for dear life and won't let go!!.......severe diets and
exercise can send your metabolism into starvation/survival mode and actually
make it harder for you to lose weight..........so please make sure that you
are eating enough (ALL OF YOUR POINTS including weekly flex points) and
exercise in moderation until your body gets in tune with your new
lifestyle........

Ok, I'm over being upset. I do eat all my points. I was just upset and a
bit surprised to see a lb back on when I didn't cheat and I walked so far.
I have to hang in and not get discouraged so easily.

glad to hear you are eating all of your points.

also very glad to hear that you are not upset anymore

hang in there.............1 to 2 lbs per week is healthy........be
patient.......think "healthy lifestyle", not "lose weight quickly"......you
have to be happy in this journey or you will return right back to where you
started and possible even worse......

We're here for you LW......keep you chin up

Just because is the only answer...Just take a deep breath and continue on
the journey...If you know you are doing everything right then don't
worry...I'm sure if we followed our weight gains when we didn't care about
losing weight we would have weeks when we ate lots of food and didn't gain
weight...The journey last a lifetime...Follow the program and nothing is
impossible...GG

I never heard of that before. What would make them retain water? Most days
I walk 1 1/2 to 2 miles. I wish I could find the original WW diet plan from
the 1960s. I remember how everyone I knew was losing over a pound a week
and none that I recall were exercising like I need to do to lose on WW. And
no, I do not go over my 26 pts a day. I have no cravings for certain foods.
There were no points back then and some foods were unlimited and yet they
lost weight without having to walk as I am doing. Any suggestions were I
may find the original plan? Has anyone here tried the original plan? I
would love to give it a try.
