Doritos Edge LC Chips? What became of these?

Has anyone seen these anywhere lately? They were the best LC chips
I've found. Walmart had them for a brief period during the summer. I
also saw them in small bags at Subway, but they are gone both places
now. I looked at the Doritos website, didn't see them there either.
Looks like they may have discontinued them, which would be
disappointing.

I saw some yesterday for the first time at a Subway.

I see them at Subways sandwich chains and I've seen them in the Super
Stop-n-Shops in larger bags.

They have a off texture, kinda gariny/mealy when they break down in
your mouth. When I do get them at Subway I never eat more than 5-6 of
them before I've had enough.

I saw them yesterday at Wal-Mart in Boise, ID. Wonder why they are
disappearing. I had to try them, only $2.45 a bag. For the quantity I eat,
maybe 3 chips every few days, thought it was a great deal.

I don't see how that could be a great deal, no matter what quantity you eat.

There are 6 servings in a med size bag.

And I think they are low cost, not compared to regular Doritos, but if
you compare them to other LC chips, they are a good deal. The Atkins
crunchers are still selling for $1.50-1.99 for a small bag, which is
1/6 the size of the Doritos. Walmart had the Doritos for $2.49 and
the package is marked $2.99, I think.

I like both the Atkins and the Doritos. They are the best two chip
replacements I've found.
