Newserver Question
I've been using news.cis.dfn.de for over 3 years with Outlook Express. All
of a sudden, the From column has nothing displayed. I don't have any rules that would cause this. Any ideas on how to get it to fill in? -- Walking on . . . Laurie in Maine 207/110 60 inches of attitude! Start: 2/02 Maintained since 2/03 |

Newserver Question
(Jayjay) wrote in
I've been using it for years and on a couple of my PC's I use OE. I haven't experienced the problem on my end. I seriously doubt it has anything to do w/ the german server and possible alot to do with OE. Try unsubbing from your newsgroups then resubbing. If that doesn't work, try deleting the news account in the profiles then recreating it. Hope you resolve it. You might try a google search of the MS OE groups to see if this is a known error or not. Thanks JayJay, I'm sure you're right about it being OE. I've tried your suggestions (and a couple others) to no avail and since I'm reluctant to uninstall and reinstall OE, I decided to give Xnews a try - never could get the hang of Free Agent. Laurie |
