Been on the Atkins WOE for 8 Weeks and lost 23 Ibs so far, is this good? I
must admit that I let caution fly to the wind on a saturday nights and have
about 5 pints of beer with my friends but thats the only heavy duty carbs I
ingest. Everything I eat every day is on the allowed list and in the correct
proportions though I often dont fill my quota of carbs. I dont suffer any
constipation ,though my breath can be a problem, its costing me a fortune in
dental flossers and mouthwash. I'm drinking 4 litres of water a day. Anyone
got any good suggestions?

Well, your not supposed to have beer. But it seems to be working for you
anyway so what the heck? 23 pounds I think is pretty good. When you stall
(and you will) cut the beer.

As for the breath, I just chew gum. Sugar free of course and don't forget to
count the carbs. But the water seems to help my breath so I try and avoid
the gum.
