Default Help with calculations please

I've been experimenting in the kitchen and need one of you wise folks good
with numbers and calculations to help me with figuring out how many carbs
these "egg cakes" have.

Info from the Krusteaz pancake mix bag:
Serving size 1/2 cup. Calories 210 calories from fat 25.

Total fat 2.5g
Sat fat 0.5 g
Cholesterol 5mg
Sodium 610mg
Total Carbs 40g
Dietary Fiber 1 g
Sugars 7 g
Protein 6 g

What I did....
1 Tablespoon of above mix to one egg beaten well add about a tablespoon of
water and fried like pancakes. (I can get two nice size cakes from one egg.)
They tasted wonderful and cured my pancake craving. Now I'm curious how
lethal they are!
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Priscilla

1/2 cup = 4 oz = 8 Tablespoons
therefore you had 5 carbs in the "pancake" mix. Add in for the egg and you
had less than six carbs with minimal fiber.

Not too bad if it cured your cravings. I'll have to remember this for hub
(pancake freak)

Try this recipe. It is really good. I got it from this newsgroup a couple
of years ago. Everyone loves them.

1/4 cup soy protein powder
2 Tbs flax meal
2 tsp baking powder
pinch of Splenda
1 egg
1/4 C heavy whipping cream
1/2 C water
1/2 tsp vanilla

This makes about 8 to 9 3 to 3 1/2 inch pancakes. Enough for 2 servings.
Nutrition breakdown for one serving is:
Calories 215
Total fat 14 g
Sat fat 9g
Total carbs 5g
Fiber 2g
Protein 17g

Try them. You'll like them..........Sue
