Power shopping!
I felt a need to burn off some energy this afternoon. The morning was spent
sewing/designing. Not very active, but brain intensive! So, since I needed to go grocery shopping, I decided to do it as actively as I could. I didn't take any kids with me (although pushing the twins in one of those race car carts is quite a workout!), so I could move quickly. I went down every aisle, even if I didn't need anything in that one. Those I went down super-fast! When I had to stop to hunt for something, I jiggled or stepped or bounced. I kept moving every step of the way. I only stopped for a minute or two to look at quilting magazines. A completely understandable pause. :-) I even got in some step-aerobics trying to reach a package of veggie sausage stuck at the back of the top freezer shelf! G Whew! That felt good! Then I came home and put it all away and made a healthy dinner. Giles even ate several asparagus! -- Wendy http://griffinsflight.com/Quilting/quilt1.htm de-fang email address to reply |

Power shopping!
Since Curves is closed on Sundays, I sometimes will do a "power shopping"
run at the larger supermarket in town. Hubby can't understand why it takes my 45 minutes to come home with 2 bags of groceries. Its the only way I can get out of the house and get some exercise on the weekends these days. "frood" wrote in message r.com... I felt a need to burn off some energy this afternoon. Power shopping!
2 bags? That's my every other day, little trip to the store! G Oh, while
carrying the 3 gallons of milk into the house, I remembered a factoid from WW online. 25 pounds lost is equal in weight (roughly) to 3 gallons of milk. No wonder I have more energy - I'm not carrying around that weight anymore! -- Wendy (178/135/151) http://griffinsflight.com/Quilting/quilt1.htm de-fang email address to reply "Laura" wrote in message ... Power shopping!
My Sunday shopping is just my junk for the week. Chicken, veggies, raisons,
cereal, milk, snacks and seltzer water. Hubby does the main shopping during the week. I'm in control of my breakfasts and lunches so I do that shopping. "frood" wrote in message r.com... 2 bags? Power shopping!
Hi Wendy,
I figured out the other day that I've lost the equivalent of two very large bags of dog food. It was mind boggling. No wonder I now have more energy! Carol -- .................................................. ........... 318/237.6/169 81.4 lost since December 2002 I am a slim person in process. .................................................. ............. Wow! That's great, Carol! I tried to think of something funny to say, but I
guess it's too early in the day for my brain. :-) -- Wendy http://griffinsflight.com/Quilting/quilt1.htm de-fang email address to reply "Carol in NC" wrote in message .com...
