Default Will the Holidays ever end???

I love the holidays, but not when I am losing weight and working out.
I know I can't put the work outs and diet on hold until they are over.
That would be the worst thing I could do, but it is tempting.
Everywhere I go, everywhere I look there is hi caloric food. Baskets
are coming to the office filled with fine chocolates....and
cookies....and...all things fattening. I went to the gym last night to
work out with my trainer and I swear I worked my ass off, but felt like
I could never burn the calories from the cake I ate during lunch. I am
trying to keep focused during this massive party time, massive eating
time, and massive socializing time. IT IS NOT EASY. I am going to an
eating event every night this week. Sunday will be a food fest with
the family. I NEED ENCOURAGEMENT.....I turn to you.......HELP. There
is Italian chocolate about three feet away from me......and I WANT
SOME!!!!!!!!!

Believe it or not it has actually been studied. The further away the
chocolate is from you, the less you will eat. Who would of thought?

If moving it farther away is not an option, enjoy the smell and happy
thoughts of looking great.

I put the chocolates in my boss's office....but the butter cookies are
calling to me. I feel like throwing it all in the garbage. My will
power is weakening. Why are these wonderful goodies so high in
calories? Can't they make low calorie wonderful goodies? At home I
can distract myself...but in the office it's the worst. I keep
thinking about those baskets. I need a manual labor
job...outdoors...and away from food. I can control myself more at a
party than I can in this office.

You have to be your own judge. I know I can take the weight back off, but
for many a Holiday splurge is an unbeatable setback.

Good luck.

This year I have been ruthless. It was my birthday celebration last weekend,
work is winding up and everyone brings in chocolates and sweets, on top of
which I got many extra chocolate gifts because I'm leaving that job to start
a new career next year. But I tell you, without anyone knowing, it all went
in the bin. I had a few bites and some tastes here and there but there's NO
WAY I'm going to ingest all that. I wouldn't eat that many sweets in 6
months! Sorry they wasted their money but at least they didn't find out.
