Aren't most salad dressings low carb? I've been on Induction for almost a
month and have used nothing but "regular" salad dressings; all with 1 or 2
carbs per 2 tablespoons. Besides, I'm a cheapstake and always buy the 99
cent store brands.

Also look at the Marzetti's brand dressings if they have them in your area.
They are usually stored in the produce section and refrigerated. Also not in
a bottle but in a jar. Their Caesar dressing is incredible, and the Ranch
isn't too far behind.

Nancy, consider reviewing existing dressings at the store.
Thousand Island, Russian, French, Catalina, Honey Mustards are the
dressings that a more expensive low-carb would be worth buying(more
$$). But wait on recommendations. There is a lot of bad LC food out
there.

Carb Options are Unilever brands- the dressings are actually the
Wishbone brand. I have the Wishbone Carb Options Italian, but haven't
opened it yet.

Carb Options Ranch $0.24/oz. 0 carb
Wishbone Ranch $0.19/oz 1 carb (I bought it @ $0.16/oz)

If you are stuck doing induction level eating I can understand you
caring about the 1 carb difference.

Here are ordinary brands that are low carb:

Marie's Blue Cheese/Super Blue CHunk - 0 carb ($ pricier, but good)
Kraft Roka Blue Cheese Dressing - 1 carb
Marie's Creamy Caesar - 0 carbs ($ pricier, but good)
Kens Caesar Dressing & Marinade - 1 carb
Kraft Three CHeese Italian Dressing - 1 carb
Marie's Ranch - 1 carbs ($ pricier, but good)
Wishbone Ranch - 1 carb
Hidden Valley Ranch - 1 carb
Kens Italian Dressing - 1 Carb
Newmans Own Family Recipe Italian Dressing - 1 Carb
Kens Lite Balsamic Basil Vinaigrette Dressing - 1 Carb
Newmans Own Olive Oil & Vinegar Dressing - 1 Carb

Carb options ranch is ok, but next to Kraft ranch, the 1 carb is worth the
Kraft regular ranch

Thousand Island dressing-- 1 Tbsp low carb ketchup and 1/4 cup mayo = 1-2
carbs and a nice change.

if your dressing leaves you with a blah taste and salt and pepper doesn't
help- try sprinkling some splenda over your salad

Many are but brand variation is significant.

Ranch & Blue cheese dressings, a typical low carb runs from 0 to 2 g.
Caesar 1 to 3 grams
Russian, thousand islands run 5-8 grams
Frnech, Honey mustard can be 6 to 12 grams.
One of my fvorites, Ken's Sweeet Vidalia onion is 9 grams
Even good old italian varies from 1 to 4 gms

Of course "lite" dressings go into double digit carbs.

You definitely *CAN* buy regular brands and do low carb easily, just
have to watch your labels.
