Yes because if they do it *right* it lowers the WW points.

For some stupid reason our Jewel does not carry that same brand English

muffins.
They have the bagels, dinner rolls, several breads ... but not one

package
of
English muffins. I haven't checked the wal-mart, but since we don't

have
a super
wal-mart, I don't hold much hope. All our wal-mart has is a free

standing
rack
with about 3 brands of loaved bread. sigh I did post in another

thread
that
today I found a version of Thomas English Muffins that worked out to 1

or
1.5
points, depending how you want to round. They really pumped them up

with
fiber,
to lower the net carbs ... trying to reach those carb counters. I'll

bet
they
never considered they would reach the ww point counters too. g

sigh None of our stores have a store brand of light english

muffins.
Hot dog
buns, hamburger buns ... yes ... english muffins, no go. Guess I'll

just
have to
continue with the 2 point ones and know that at least they are whole
wheat, so am
probably getting something nutritionally good in there - even if a

few
more
calories are involved.

In a recent thread folks were discussing WW breads. I discovered
yesterday
that Stop & Shop's Light english muffins are only 1 point. So are

their
Light Hamburger rolls. So for folks that can't find the WW brand of
breads
check the store brand light version as a possible alternative.
