Total cholesterol 165

Optimal.

HDL 36

Lower than optimal.

LDL 79

Optimal.

Triglycerides 249

Higher than optimal.

Blood pressure good (don't remember what it was, it isn't on my form,
but it was good)
Height 6'2" wide shoulders football player build
Weight 280

You may be 110 lbs heavier than optimal.

I exercise and eat a wide variety of foods. That wide variety includes
vegetables and also includes desert, but rarely soda or alcohol. I
would *hate* to give up having a daily sugar rich desert.

It would be wiser to eat less of everything and be hungrier (have a
healthier appetite).

I would
rather go to the gym more.

That tend to make folks hungrier if they don't overdo it.

I can cut sugar for a few weeks but a
sugarless flourless lifestyle change would depress me. In fact, I get
angry when hungry.

Those who remain brainwashed to believe falsely that "hunger is bad"
tend to have very real psychophysiological manifestations arising from
this false belief.

Anyway, when I search about triglycerides it is always being linked to
other cholesterol problems and I don't have other cholesterol problems.

Actually, the low HDL is a cholesterol problem.

Also I see posts from people with sky high triglycerides. DO I REALLY
have a problem?

You need to get serious about your health and do whatever you need to do to
get your Triglycerides a lot lower and to raise your HDL's.

My Triglycerides were 612, and not are about 480. I have higher bad
cholesterol that the good, but the over all numbers are not as bad as a lot
of people. But the numbers between the good and bad are large. Last year
when I was 43, I have 3 stents put in on an emergency basis.
I have heard that higher Triglycerides can be a sign to developing diabetes,
or atlest there's some link.

I will I knew for sure what to make of it.
