Thanks for the replies.
Very useful.

I'm going to start eating tuna regularly too. From the details on the tin
it looks healthy
Steamed broc, carrots - are all vegetables good or just some?

What would you recommend to eat before a gym session to get the energy
levels up?

Can't quit the beer yet though!

Thanks - Joe

Canned tuna may have a lot of mercury if eaten too often.

This is so complicated.

Maybe I'll just stay fat.

last I heard was that canned tuna is made from smaller, younger fish,
therefore not having the mercury levels of adult tuna...

LOL!!
Did you really just say that?

LOLOL

Don't get discouraged. It isn't rocket science to eat better and feel
better. Moderation moderation moderation. Watch your portions, don't be
purposely retarded in making food choices. Get off your butt and start
moving everyday. And you will be fine.

Don't have to quit, just drink less, or save it for special occassions. I
still drink beer, only good beer. But, I don't drink it very often, and make
sure I get a good workout in on the day I drink it.

I don't drink that often - maybe 6-10 pints 4/5 days a week.

Ooops maybe I do.

Please say "won't" not "can't".

You keep looking for loopholes. Are you ready to commit to weight loss
or going to hang on to non productive habits forever?

(Sounding strict but not meaning to be harsh as I have many vulnerable
food fixations too)

Hi Joe,
I have a Protein Shake before I hit the gym,,,you can mix it with water as
well as milk.
Tuna is great,,,,,I eat it right out of the can,,,,,,,or mix it with mayo.
Regards,
Sandy
