Default Wish me luck with the dietician!

As a part of my gall bladder treatment, I have to visit the dietician
today... SHOULD be OK, but just wish me luck. I know intellectually
that I'm doing all the right things most of the time (though I did waste
a whole 5 points on a croissant yesterday morning while out shopping!),
but I'm still a bit nervous that he/she/it will tell me to cut out
something vital to my mental equilibrium!

My greed with the croissant took me to 24 points yesterday, so I did use
my walking points I earned, BUT I still have 3 in hand from earlier in
the week... Well, Monday!

I don't think they'll tell you that Kate. They'll probably be advising you
to eat less fatty/fried foods, which you're probably already doing anyway!
My Dad had a gall stone a few years back and whenever he at fried foods he
knew about it! He had his removed and was home within a few days and is
good as new.

Good luck today, it'll be fine Kate.

Hi Kate! I know how you feel as I had my gall bladder removed many years
ago. I simply had to go on a low fat diet but some people do have an
intolerance for eggs. I think that was the only things I had to adjust. Wish
you luck.

Good luck with the dietician. Hopefully she will be able to give you some
great suggestions.

I know - but it was utterly delish! ;P Trouble is, I DIDN'T suffer
later, so there's no disincentive to do it again! Still it only counts
as one toe off the wagon, doesn't it?

Mostly what happened with the dietician was she said, You are doing all
the right things! Well done on the weight loss, and keep it up! And
lots of giggles! I made her laugh a lot! She thought aiming for the
top of my BMI was good - it would leave me plenty of room for more loss
if I wanted, but so long as I was in the safe zone, the sugeeon would be
happy.

She'll send me another appointment so I can feel that someone Is
Watching, which will help me stay on track. She also weighed me (in
kilos! I'm not used to being 85 kilos! What's that in REAL numbers?
Oh, about 187 and a bit pounds! or 13 stone 3 1/2 pounds - looks like I
might have gone down again this week! I sure hope so!), and was pleased
that I'd lost my 25 lbs.

So, a case of 'More of the same, please!' PHEW!!
