Default Input please, support

Sunshyne, relax.

Things happen to us all as we age. Has little or nothing to do with our
diets, it's just part of life.

Accepting and understanding the changes is important. You'll be fine.

I also started a new med. Just took it one day. Vioxx. Maybe it ulcered my
stomach.

Bingo!!! Vioxx is hell on the stomach - I recently had a bad stomach bout on a
similar drug, Mobic. Stop the Vioxx and see how you feel in the next few days.

How do you know that the problems would not have been much worse if you had
not been on the Atkins program? My guess is that your low-carb eating kept
you much healthier than you would have been otherwise and minimized your
sumptoms.

This would make more sense than your negative take, since for most of us the
type of symptoms that you describe have all improved over time on Atkins.

My health has improved some since on the Atkins program. I stated that.

Yes I am much healthier. The pain in the knees, migraines, sleep apnea, IBS,
have cleared up.

Questioning Atkins is a negative take? I don't think it is. One of the concerns
I stated was the eating of certain meats that can cause Gout, or Gout like
symptoms.

I hope it gets solved soon. I have a relative with fibromyalgia, and I
know it's no fun at all...

the bleeding - it is highly possible it's the Vioxx, as such things
often lead to dehydration in the colon (pain medications in general,
actually) and to bleeding - in which case, it's unfortunatly not the
drug for you.

Hang in there... and be well.

Me too. I appreciate everyones support, thank you. I will make it to the doc to
see what to do next. Testing, etc.

I am starting school tomorrow. Can't wait. It will be of a big help to get out
of the house, and meet new people. I am taking graphic design.

I think so, the Vioxx. I been really taking it easy, not letting it all get to
me. The bleeding is still going on. Not as intense. I was able to hold food
down today. Been pretty much liquids all last week. The elbow swelling is down
too.

Hang in there... and be well.

Yesterday was a long day. First days are like that I think? I got this
beautiful graphic art design set, case and all. Art tools I never even heard
of. Lots of books. I am finding it hard on my back to carry the books around,
so looking into one of them bookbags on wheels.

It was such a busy day, I did not eat as well as I should've. Today I did
better. Classes are from 12-5. 10 minute breaks in between each class. There
are vending machines, but its all junk food.

I had a sausage patty and two boiled eggs for breakfast. (I cut them up into
small pieces, mix them together with a dash of hot sauce) Small salad for lunch
before school. I was getting really hungry towards the end of the day though.
Drank lots of water.

Being active and busy, its helping me sleep better. (Bleeding also has
stopped). My doctor is trying to get the referral out to have another scope
done.

Drawing class is my fave, along with Typography. Studied the history of
writing, the alphabet today. Was really interesting.

Soon as I picked up a drawing pencil, the teacher showing us how to hold it. I
knew I made the right decision. Felt like I am home again. Its what I am
meant to do.

Are you back to teaching now too? Hows it going for you?

The teachers I have, they are great!

Nimue: I have a Business Comm. Class. The book, workbook for the class, its a
English workbook. Remember I told you once about the horrible teacher I had
when a kid? The nouns, pronouns, proper nouns, verbs, adverbs. Its driving me
a little bonkers already. I may need some help, if you are up to it? Not yet,
but if needed, can I ask you for help? I wish I could say I like English as a
course. I just don't. Or perhaps its just the belittling teacher I had when a
kid. I was falling asleep in class just about. It may get better as the week
goes on.

I can imagine. makes you wonder if they will ever develop the softbook - a
book on CD, DVD, or flash memory. Then just put them on a laptop or even a
