time they have sugar free and alot of different kinds ---so confusing to get
to best one , as everyone else here is not a low carber and can eat the
Huggan.
Thanks and hugs BettyLou.

Low Carb Ice Cream works for me. Perhaps it is your higher than typical
carb level, Iggy, that causes you trouble with ice cream. Have you actually
tried the low carb ice creams?

try staying away from ice cream at least until you reach normal
weight. (and possibly forever)

Yummy low carb ice creams include Carb Solutions Butter Pecan and Breyers
Carb Smart Chocolate. Keto has a raspberry ice cream bar that is too too
good.

How do you figure it works for you when you are still so fat?

Consistently do pushups, consistently push away the ice cream, and soon you
won't be fat.

I like the CarbSmart fine -- they do a Rocky Road that's actually
really good -- even though it has an ever-so-slightly greasy mouthfeel
to me.

I've tried the Ben & Jerry's "Carb Karma" line, but I doubt I'd buy it
again. I wasn't terribly impressed with it for the price, and the fact
that it comes in a pint container is any issue for me. Seriously. With
the just-under-a-quart CarbSmart carton, I can easily portion out a
half to three-quarter cup serving and be satisfied. But in my old,
pre-LC days, a pint of ice cream often turned into one serving for me
.... it's still too easy, psychologically, for me to grab the pint and
eat right from the carton and the next thing you know, it's all gone.

Anyone in Texas or who has access to HEB grocery store - the store brand has
come out with Creamy Creations (I think that is the name) lo carb ice cream
in about 6-8 flavors. Made with Maltilol (sp). I tried the butter pecan -
pretty good.

I hear ya! I try to "fool" myself, first I have 3 separate servings (on
different days of course), then the LAST serving I eat straight from the
container - HEAVEN!!!

I still need to get my super blender out of storage... but I'm planning on
making some "ice cream" this year like I did the last few years. It's super
thick and really good.
Frozen strawberries, cream, and this year I will sweeten it with splenda
instead of sugar.
You need a very strong blender to make something like that, and a stick to
move the stuff around while it's blending (ours came with one that safely
pokes through the lid but doesn't poke through long enough to touch the
blades).

As far as a storebought ice cream suggestion... we tried some fudge bars
once that were really good. I think they were called SkinnyCow? The flavor
that was awesome was peanut butter chocolate. It was very rich and
chocolatey and satisfying. Stores near us don't carry them so we haven't
had them since.
