How do you know that the problems would not have been much worse if you had
not been on the Atkins program?

My health has improved some since on the Atkins program. I stated that.

My guess is that your low-carb eating kept
you much healthier than you would have been otherwise and minimized your
sumptoms.

Yes I am much healthier. The pain in the knees, migraines, sleep apnea, IBS,
have cleared up.

This would make more sense than your negative take, since for most of us the
type of symptoms that you describe have all improved over time on Atkins.

Questioning Atkins is a negative take? I don't think it is. One of the concerns
I stated was the eating of certain meats that can cause Gout, or Gout like
symptoms.

I hope it gets solved soon. I have a relative with fibromyalgia, and I
know it's no fun at all...

the bleeding - it is highly possible it's the Vioxx, as such things
often lead to dehydration in the colon (pain medications in general,
actually) and to bleeding - in which case, it's unfortunatly not the
drug for you.

Hang in there... and be well.

There were reports on the news last week that Vioxx caused heart
attacks.

Me too. I appreciate everyones support, thank you. I will make it to the doc to
see what to do next. Testing, etc.

I am starting school tomorrow. Can't wait. It will be of a big help to get out
of the house, and meet new people. I am taking graphic design.

I think so, the Vioxx. I been really taking it easy, not letting it all get to
me. The bleeding is still going on. Not as intense. I was able to hold food
down today. Been pretty much liquids all last week. The elbow swelling is down
too.

Hang in there... and be well.

Sunshyne, relax.

I read this last night, wanted to let you know. In a weird way, it was
comforting.

Things happen to us all as we age. Has little or nothing to do with our
diets, it's just part of life.

I been aging for quite awhile, actually since a young age. I am 38 yrs. old.
Inside, I feel young, outside..I feel a hundred years old.

Accepting and understanding the changes is important. You'll be fine.

Yeah, I will be fine. I sorta freaked out I think.
