Fair enough, a few hours later I tested negative for ketosis. Bad news
indeed. Good news: 15 hours after the dinner, kaboom, I am back to moderate level. The telltale sign of them actually working would be a lot of gas, much like that produced by difficult to digest carbs in beans. When you eat enough carb to refill glycogen, the body starts flushing all the ketones to urine, giving false positive readings. Did you gain water weight? It wasn't a false reading because I remaind in Ketosis thereafter. This morning, 3 days later, I dropped to "trace" level but I believe it was due to working out for 2 hours at the gym. Extraneous workout makes your body consume Ketones for energy and so it doesn't spill much to urine. 4 hours later am back to moderate. My advise is: Don't use them unless you are about to cheat and you almost cannot resist a starchy meal. One cheat may cause you to leave the routine for weeks. The carb blocker encouraged me to continue. I call the bottle "My back up system" J. later I am back -- jamie ) "There's a seeker born every minute." |

I know with certain pills, such as Hydroxycut, you can experience a stroke or
heart attack. I am not well-researched on individual diet pills, but I know some cause football players to collapse at practice, etc., and would never use pills. I'd rather just continue eating the way Dr. Atkins wrote, and forget starchy meals. Jen Join my conga! www.geocities.com/cinnamn112/ipodconga.htm |
