Default Can you change your diet & exercise routine without compromising your lifestyle?

Hi, am Jen a 20yr old from london, until recently i've been strugling
to control my eating and to some extent i still am. i suppose i eat
mostly because they're nothing better to do or to join in with everyone
else.
About a moth ago i came across this website: www.go-advise.com
I read an article that motivated me into changing my habbits, i've now
decided to take short walks, eat at home before going out, help with
the house work.
The problem is, this is affecting my relationships with my family and
to some degree, friends. I get upset when i come home mum's made a dish
i find unsuitable, she'd like to help me in my effort but there are
others in the family to consider, I choose to eat at home whilst my
friends like their fast food, i've also restricted my drinking which is
harming my social life.
Is it possible to change your lifestyle without compromising those
around you?

How is the stopping of drinking alcohol harming your social life? Perhaps
you need to take a closer look at your friends. I never drank and it had no
effect on my social life when I was single. Who would care if you had a
soda instead of alcohol?

Since you are old enough and healthy enough to post this message, surely you
are capable of making your own meals. How hard is it to boil an egg or bake
a few porkchops? Your mother can help you at first. Time to grow up and
start to do for yourself....... ;o)

Can't do much about family, but you can get new friends.

Well, that does make it harder for you, but you can't expect the world to
beat to your tune. Deal with it.

watch them grow fatter and fatter. Get your camcorder out.

Or, its improving your life.

It is possible to change your lifestyle but you'll have to make changes.
Those changes may definitely impact your current relationships, moreso if
they are part of your problem. But these are some of the things that make
losing weight hard work. Moreso if you want to keep it off.

So, perhaps you should just quit now while you're ahead, huh?
