Default Liquid Splenda order is here.

Back in January we had a thread discussing the delays in online orders for
White Sugar Flavored Syrup / Zero Carb Syrup Base Concentrate [Liquid
Splenda] from: http://www.Locarber.com

Mine arrived today, all 6 bottles. I did a quick taste test from a random
bottle and it seems to be the right stuff, which I got before.

The advantages of Liquid Splenda are having no carbs and it lasts a LONG
time. I use the stuff like a maniac. One bottle lasted 2 months. In that
time I would have used about 5 or 6 $4.99 boxes of the powdered
maltodextrine stuff.

I figure six bottles may last until I reach my goal. This may take a year
and a half.

As the story goes, Splenda allegedly cuts off supplies to anyone who bottles
sucralose as a liquid and then Splenda refuses to make it themselves. They
use their patent to deny access. I think this is a misuse of a patent.
Maybe some rich lawyer could challenge their patent, as pro bono work.

I'd be glad to sell you one of my bottles. Just mail me $200.

Anyone know the proportion of the dry Splenda to water for liquid Splenda?
How hard can it be to make for oneself? Is the cost that much more
prohibitive?

The difference is that the liquid Splenda doesn't have the maltodextrin
filler. Some people do not like its taste.

I bought some, too. I love the stuff. The dry splenda is just sitting in my
pantry. Don't know when I'll use it again. I use it in everything.

Too bad Splenda doesn't take a hint and make it themselves

My order arrived from lowcarber - minus the sweetener - a few weeks
ago. Grrr. Said it was pilfered.

Had the box been opened?

My box had an extra wrap of shipping tape, and was fully insured.

This is certainly not a patent issue. The patent prevents anyone else
from manufacturing Splenda and has nothing to do with how it is
distributed. As I understand it, McNeil limits what customers can do
with the product in terms of resale through a simple sales agreement.
And that is nothing new and perfectly legal.

No. It looked fine to me. I did get a refund, but she said at the time
that she wouldn't be getting any more in. That obviously turned out
not to be true.

I just got my 6 bottles on 3/13.

Good for you. I won't be doing business with her again. I last talked
with her on 3/01 and she did not offer to make good on the delivery,
didn't tell me she was getting more in. I was left to think she still
didn't have any, which is what she told me when I received the box
minus the syrup. She said she wasn't using FedEx any longer because of
the trouble. I see she is still using it. The whole thing smells bad.
No, thanks.
