Keto Foods out of business?
I've been having a hard time tracking down their shake mix, which is my
favorite, and I noticed the company website is down. In the google-cached version, it says: "Please accept our apologies. We are unable to continue accepting orders. We are promptly crediting credit cards for all orders that have been placed that we were unable to ship. If you have sent an email or left a phone message, please accept our apologies as we are unable at this time to respond. However, KETO Products are still available in local health food stores across the country or via other on line vendors. Since 1998, our team has made an enormous effort to develop and produce what many consumers and publications have called the best-tasting low carb foods and snacks. We greatly appreciate the loyalty you have shown KETO through the years. We are hoping to re-launch our very popular KETO brand during the first quarter of 05! " Anyone know the story behind this? Can anyone recommend any other Splenda-based protein powders? |

"jaycee" writes: Can anyone recommend any other Splenda-based protein powders? ISS Research's "Micellar Matrix" is sucralose flavored. However, note that it's a casein blend, not a whey blend (it has some whey, but is primarily casein). Optimum Nutrition's "Any Whey" is an unflavored whey powder that is great for mixing with other things. I mix a scoop in with flax-o-meal and it doesn't noticeably change the flavor. Both can be found at netrition.com. Note that netrition provides the ingredient lists for most of their foods so you can check these things yourself ;-) |

Likely they are in trouble. I heard commentary in the financial news
regarding many low-carb food producers and their overproduction, overstocking, and generally peaking production just when demand started to dimish rapidly...... Other protein powders: Many whey proteins sweetened with Splenda are readily available..... |

Did you try www.vitacost.com or www.netrition.com? Both carry Keto
products. If you sign up with eBates and go to VitaCost through their website you get a 6% rebate on your purchases. http://www.ebates.com/affiliate_land...&refpa geid=1 In oups.com, jaycee stated | I've been having a hard time tracking down their shake mix, which is | my favorite, and I noticed the company website is down.
