No. We almost always buy the tomatoes that come on the stems which they
said were safe. Most of the tomatoes we get seem to come from Canada, even in the winter, they have some big hydroponic greenhouse outfits up there. Roger Zoul wrote: | All of you LC veggie eaters...are you not worried about getting sick? |

What I've read is that tomatoes aren't all that's under suspicion now. Avocadoes, cilantro, other ingredients in guacamole, for instance, and assorted ingredients that folks have eaten *with* tomatoes are also under suspicion. Which means the gov't hasn't a clue what's making so many folks sick yet. Susan |

Seriously, I can't believe the way they come out with these warnings, basically ruin entire food industries, and then say "we don't know after all." Idiots. Cheri |

A plate that's a third cauliflower, a third mashed turnips, a third steak. Now that stuff is seriously gonna kill me any second it's so unhealthy. I'm so convinced I'm going to switch back any day now to eating grass. Because when I ate lots of grass I gained 50 pounds in 20 years and results really don't mean anything at all. ;^) |
