You have lost some weight, and think you might want to lose more
weight, but do not want to push it too far.

Let me suggest that instead of measuring success in terms of pounds or
kilos, you measure success by the lifestyle you prefer to adopt - how
much and what you choose to eat, how much and how you choose to
exercise, etc. The lifestyle you have appears to be a way you enjoy
living. If you are like most people, and you are eating less and
exercising more than before, you will typically lose some amount of
weight, and then level off. When that happens, you will need to
decide whether to maintain that lifestyle, and maintain the weight you
have, or whether to change your lifestyle.

What I hope will happen is that you will choose to keep doing what
you have been doing recently, since that seems to suit you.

As for how to convince friends to see their appeal - the best way to
do that which I ever experienced was the first and only time I went to
a NAAFA dance. Having a room full of men look at me with pretty
obvious lust in their eyes did great things for my self-esteem.

Another thing to do is to encourage them to buy an outfit from one of
the more expensive sources of women's clothing. My personal favorites
are makingitbigonline.com or loveyourpeaches.com. I cannot afford to
shop there often, but nice clothes that really are big enough and that
are designed for a woman my shape and not for a size 8, can make me
feel more beautiful. Wearing polyester bought from a catalog using
models too small to fit in their sizes is often cheaper, but does not
feed the soul to the same degree.
