Default back on induction

Howdy,

After a summer of carb debauchery, i'm back on induction. I had lost almost
65lbs with low carbing over the past two years. Slacked off a lot this
summer - ate cake, ice cream (not the LC versions) fried foods,
potatoes..and the list goes on. Mind you, it wasn't a carb fest. There
were dayes..maybe even a week or two that were strictly low carb.

Nonetheless, I'm back. Didn't gain that much, though. Went from 188 at the
beginning of the summer to 192 now. It's a steady 192, so I know its not
water. I just have to remember how I did it two years ago. Inductin is easy
to forget if you haven't done it in a while.

I'll be lurking, posting, etc. Thanks.

It took you 2 years to lose 65 pounds on Atkins??? I think a lot of you
people need a crash course in INDUCTION!

OK so you gained 10 pounds back, in about 2 weeks it will be gone, provided
you stay ON induction!

WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Congrats.

I just have to remember how I did it two years
ago. Inductin is easy to forget if you haven't done it in a while.

Second or third time (etc) weight loss with lowcarb after the first
dramatic success tends to be not so dramatic. Your body remembers how
to do it even if you don't, and will shift to *efficient* fat burning
rather more quickly than the first time. Plan on watching your calories
sooner and more strictly and excercising to achieve the results you are
looking for.

Oh, shut up. Due to several chronic diseases (with a newly discovered one),
meds, and other factors, I have lost 51 pounds in a year and a half. Some of
us are slower.

Making generalized assumptions about people that you know nothing about is a
sign of stupidity.

I think a lot of people would fail if they dtayed on induction as long as
you are advising. The limited selections of certain foods would discourage
people from staying on the diet or make it easier to binge on carbs. I
myself am losing slowly. It didn't go on overnight and I don't expect it to
fall off overnight. If I am losing at all - then my new WOE is successful
(no matter how long it takes). You aren't showing a lot of support to those
trying to lose (and aren't losing up to your standards). This is a SUPPORT
group. Please show support.
