Default Food & Exercise -- 10/1/2003

Food:

9:30 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast 1/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese

1:45 (restaurant, with Elise): salad w/ mixed greens, 6 oz. grilled
salmon, 1 hard boiled egg, 1/2 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese, 2 tbsp.
balsamic vinaigrette dressing

6:30 (home): energy bar

9:00 (home): 164g leftover turkey meatloaf w/ 3 slices melted f/f
cheese

Totals: 1339 calories, 54g fat (36%), 65g carbs (19%), 135g protein
(40%) {Not very good from the fruit and vegetables standpoint today.
And I'm sure way too much sodium.}

3:45 p.m. -- Exercise (miscellaneous -- on my own today as Tom was
away):

a. 3 minutes treadmill walking to warm up legs

b. rabbit jumps -- length of aerobics studio (maybe 60-70 feet --
shorter than basketball court)

c. walking lunges holding 8 lb. aerobics bar on my back -- studio
length

d. rabbit jumps -- one length

e. walking lunges w/ bar -- one length

f. 2 * (sprint one length, side shuffle one length, run backwards one
length, side shuffle one length, sprint one length)

g. 2 * (sprint halfway down, reverse direction and run backwards,
repeat coming back to starting point)

h. 2 * (one length high-knees run, one length butt-kick run)

i. 10 lateral raises followed by 10 front raises with elastic band

j. lat pulldowns: 1x10x75; 1x10x87.5; 1x7x100

k. machine seated rows: 1x10x62.5; 1x10x75

l. abs stuff on Swiss ball holding 8 lb. medicine ball: 25 crunches
holding medicine ball straight-armed overhead; 25 crunches lowering
ball like a hammer to side of knees, then between knees, then to other
side; 15 twists to each side holding ball with straight arms
