Default Bummer: plateau is here...

I was sort of waiting for this to happen, it took longer than normal, but
I've hit a plateau. No weight loss for an entire week, after a consecutive
loss of at least 1 lb/week over 3 months. Usually I hit a plateau after
4-5 weeks, due to my inability to maintain my WOE. This time however, I
like my WOE so much, I don't even *want* to change back. So I'll just keep
going and see when the weight loss picks up again.

Although it's somewhat depressing, for the time being, I'm not planning on
making any changes. It feels like my body is reshuffling its needs and
requirements. Metabolism is still faster than normal and I'm not gaining
weight either. BTW, did I mention that I lost two pant sizes in the last
month? I was so excited about that, it could keep me motivated for weeks
without any loss.

One questions though: I'd like to drink more water, but I simply forget.
Any tips on how to increase water consumption? I also sometimes forget to
eat, just because I'm not hungry. Any clues as to why this may be? I've
never had loss of appetite during a diet before...

It's going to happen. Over the two years I spent losing 120+ pounds,
I had many weeks in which no weight loss occurred. But overall the
scale kept moving down and I got to where I wanted to be. Just keep
to your good habits, and resist the impulse to do anything drastic.

Congrats on the pant sizes lost -- that's excellent!

Keep up the good work - a plateau really isn't just 1 week, especially when
you're losing at such a healthy rate. Sometimes you'll see even more of a
loss the week following, sometimes you won't. It just works out that way.

Super!

I keep a full bottle of water with me at work whenever possible and at home
I try to make sure my cup is full. If I have trouble getting the water
down, which I do sometimes in spite of thirst, a little lemon helps and
sometimes I even put a little splenda in it - ok so that's lemonade and not
water :P

The appetite thing I can't help you with. I get hungry every few hours
around meal times, but my daytime schedule is such that I get a specific
time to eat and if I don't I have to wait 4 hours so I will definitely eat
lunch whether I'm hungry or not. Even though I'm not technically hungry, I
have no problem eating my salad and grilled protein for lunch. Skipping it
will result in my being ravenous when I can finally eat again and that just
leads to no good.
