I am sorry for my message. I did not mean it to be offensive or spam. I used
to be under-weight. Until last year I used to visit here and other news
groups frequently and asked for recommendations. Someone recommended
Herbalife products. That is when I started using Herbalife products and have
been getting good results. I now have good knowledge of these Herbalife
products and am now working with a few customers to loose their weight. Some
of them are also getting very close to the results they wanted. I was simply
wanted to do the same to those are looking for the way to loose or gain
weight.

my message to my provider and told them the purpose and to which news
groups( 4 news groups btw, not dozens or hundreds ) I am going to post, and
see if they would considered this to be illegal. I was told that they would

Do you know what "spamming" is? Pretty much exactly what you did. You
went into a crowded room full of conversation and you started yelling,
"hey, stop being social and listen up, I've got a product to sell you."

It's the same as whipping out your card at a funeral or during the
receiving line at a wedding. It's socially inappropriate.

Everyone has got something to sell. The whole system breaks down if we
start hawking our wares here.

By the way, it's "lose fat", not "loose fat". Oh, and also, if you
don't know what is normal in a group then you ought not to post there.

Many news servers will filter out alot of the spam that is posted into the
groups. That means that many people never see the spam.

When ignorant assholes, like yourself, go and repost the entire post, you
are doing nothing better than re-spamming the entire group, and since your
posts aren't filtered, you are just giving the spam to a larger audience.
That really puts you into the same class of people as the spammers
themselves.

Herbalife is also a pyramid marketing scheme. These are not only spam, they
are plainly illegal in some countries.

The only appropriate newsgroups for advertising your Herbalife are
those with "forsale" in their names.

I suggest misc.forsale.nutrition

Advertisements are not welcome in any of the diet groups (nor most
groups without forsale in the name), and many people will report you for
spamming. We've heard from thousands of Herbalife sellers before you,
most of whom lost their internet accounts or websites for spamming.

Listing your website in a brief signature after your posts is
acceptable in the diet groups, provided you are contributing to
discussion without mentioning your products, and the posts are not
just an excuse to get your web address in.
