Food & Exercise -- 11/9/2007 (yesterday)
I had a busy day yesterday. Did my usual gym stuff for a couple of
hours, then worked at the conservancy in the afternoon, then went out with DH and a couple of friends to a wine tasting and dinner at the country club. Ate rather indulgently :-). Food: * 7:00 (home): oatmeal w/ peanut butter, flax seed, & golden raisins * 11:00 (gym, between lifting & yoga): 3 1/2 multi-grain crackers (didn't notice I'd packed a broken one) * 1:30 (driving from gym to conservancy): small sandwich -- ~2 oz. Healthy Choice roast beef on 1 slice whole grain bread, w/ mustard * 5:30 -- 7:00 (wine tasting): tastes of 7 wines -- ~ 2 glasses total; ~2 oz. assorted cheeses; 4 or 5 pita chips w/ hummus; 1 grilled shrimp; small slice of quince paste bar (membrillo) * 7:00 -- 9:00 (dinner): ~1 glass wine; 2 oysters on the half shell (we shared); ~3 oz. grilled salmon w/ a little rice and grilled mixed veggies (brought half or more of this dish home); pineapple upside- down cake Exercise: * 10:15: Lifting: lots of snatch work w/ 22 lb. bar: overhead squats, drop snatches, classic snatches, power snatches; power clean w/ split jerk; back squat * 11:15: 75-minute yoga class * 12:45: Swimming: 400 meters Chris 262/130s/130s |
