Just checking in
Hi, people. It's hard to read actual messages here amongst the spam
clutter isn't it! I'm just checking in. I'm afraid my diet has been going nowhere since I last checked in. I can't seem to get back in the groove this time. At least I haven't gained more weight since rebounding. I think my body is at its limit at 125 kg and tends to not go above that. Still, I really really want to lose weight again. Somehow... I don't know if I mentioned it here, but I was in Boston for a couple of months. My father was sick and I was planning to visit in the middle of August anyway. Then his doctor called me in the middle of the night to say I had better move up my reservations and my father ended up passing away just after I got there. Then there was the funeral, my mother moving, then my sister lost her apartment lease and I had to help her find a new place and move. Finally I did come back to Japan at the end of September. But haven't really been able to diet yet. I know my blood sugar is way up though and I need to start eating healthily again. I've tried to at least cut out fried foods and sugary stuff while figuring out how to wade back into the program. I need to go back to Boston in late spring for the unveiling of my father's grave marker. One incentive is being able to sit more comfortably in an economy airline seat for a 13 hour flight. I hope you are all doing well. doug |
