I fully understand. I got a lot of comments at work but did not want
to buy too many new sports jackets, slacks, etc. So I held off. But
recently put on a suit that was only a year old. It did not work at
all. It was absolutely ridiculous. I'm not sure that alteration will
help but a tailor suggested I bring it in and see if it can be totally
rebuilt for a decent price.

But at the same time, it is neat having this "too big" problem and it
is the clothes that are too big, not me! (G)

Thanks Fred. I am hoping that the clothes that I have don't look too baggy
for a few more months. Would like to hold off buying new clothes until I am
down another size. Hopefully by the spring.

Wonderful, Laura! Congratulations! Not only for losing that 1.5, but for

making
the SWWC goal.

so congrats to everyone for doing a good job this week. Keep up the good
work. And for those that have little gains this week, hang in there.

They'll
soon come off too.

Now the good news. I'm down 1.5lb to 223. Made my SWWC goal by 2. I've

made
it to Curves 4 days this week too. I even made it there Saturday morning

at
8am before the rest of the family woke up. I'm really enjoying stopping
there on my way home from work each day. I'm finding that I am much more
relaxed at home in the evenings. I guess exercise is a good way to

relieve
stress.

I'm starting to notice that some of my smaller sized cloths are fitting
again. I pulled out a pair of pants for work today and discovered they

were
size Large and they fit. That explains why the new pair of 1X pants were

too
big. Hopefully they will shrink in the wash this weekend so they won't

be so
baggy the next time I wear them.

Have a good week everyone.

I've just paid AU$170 to have four favourite pieces taken in. I wouldn't do
it for my cheaper clothes, but for the dress I forked out AU$200 for and
wore twice, I figure it's worth it. It's amasing what a good tailor can do
Fred - go for it.

I agree. If the piece is worth money then get it altered. That's why god
created tailors. g

Thanks Connie. I really like curves. I will be going tomorrow morning before
the family wakes up. I might stop and get a large Dunkin Donuts coffee on my
way home as a treat too. French Vanilla is on my mind right now.

You'll have to post a picture of you in the final product.
