Need a suggestion or two
"Beauty Cafe" wrote in message ... I would kill for 8 hours of sleep!!! BRBR You and me both....I suffer from bouts of insomnia...it's something I've just learned to live with...I know that eventually I will collapse from exhaustion and get sleep. The part that I hate is that I tend to become emotionally wrecked the longer it goes on. I have found that working out harder in the am with my strength training and doing the yoga in the evening has helped me relax. I am sleeping better. I have also cut out the snacks after dinner. This also seems to be working. But sleep 10 hours....only in my dreams, I have way too much on my plate...when I even attempt a nap, trust me it NEVER happens...BF can do it..hell he would sleep all day if I let him. Drives me absolutely nuts!! Love, laughter and friendship Lisa in Dallas www.beautycafe.com I've always needed 8 hours of sleep. I go for days on end with 5-6 hours of sleep, add to that a very busy work day with little or no breaks (so busy these days that the time goes very quickly), after school activities, an hour of workout time (varying intensity depending on the day) sometimes broken into two 30 minutes segments, and taking care of daily household and other life tasks. By the weekend I honestly need to collapse and catch up, so 10 hours comes easy at that time. Keep in mind I get up twice a night for potty trips Thank goodness I don't have children. I used to have insomnia that was stress or hormonally based (depending on time of the month). Yoga and meditation combined with aromatherapy has enabled me to fall asleep at will if I'm in my own bed. I still have a hard time sleeping in moving vehicles and hotel rooms. Jennifer |
