Default dropped 23 pounds

I lost 23 pounds in 6 weeks so far. Now that I have gone this long on
my diet & exercise regimen, it has become pretty easy to continue. It
has become a habit. They say if you keep doing something for 21 days,
it becomes a new habit. Well I've been going for about 42 days.

I exercise, eat healthy, take supplements.

One thing I found is that you lose weight much faster if you NEVER eat
anything made out of flour, corn, rice, potatoes, or refined sugar.
All those things are empty calories that your body can burn instead of
body fat. And they have no nutritional value, so you get calories
without getting the nutrients your body must have for good health.
That's a disaster! Also they screw up your blood sugar and insulin
levels and cause you to gain weight quickly. When you don't eat empty
calories, your body has to burn more of its own fat for energy. Also
when you don't eat junk food, you're no longer tempted to overeat. I
laugh whenever I see people on TV or on web sites giving nutritional &
dieting advice and they recommend eating anything made out of flour.
That is awful. Do not eat any cereal, rice, cookies, bread, pastry,
etc. Stick with only fruits and vegetables for your carbs. Eat ones
that are brightly colored. Don't eat potatoes. They are very starchy
and have almost no nutritional value. That's why they're the most
popular vegetable! Also rice sucks because it doesn't have nutrients
and it turns into sugar quickly in your stomach. It's empty calories
just like cookies and cereal. Things like oatmeal and bagles are bad
for you too. They're just empty calories. Eat fruits and vegetables.
They have lots of fiber and nutrients along with the calories and they
improve your health instead of destroying your health like junk food
and anything that has empty calories.

I just eat lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and the nutritional
supplements that are recommended by Dr. Perricone in his books.

For protein, I mostly eat chicken with no skin.
I also eat canned wild salmon and mackeral.
And I eat some pork, which is a lot leaner that it was a few decades
ago, so I consider it to be a lean meat now, or it's lean enough
anyways.
I like to put tomato sauce on my meat. It's very good for you and it
makes the meat taste better. It's a lot cheaper than fresh tomatoes
and it has as much or more nutritients.

My main fruits are Papaya and Blueberries. They are very high in
nutrients. Papaya is great for digestion. It has an enzyme that breaks
down protein, so it's great to eat with meat. I also eat oranges,
mangos, red apples, bananas, figs.

For vegetables, I eat romaine lettuce, kale, spinach, broccoli
sprouts, red bell peppers, black olives, beans, asparagus, etc. I like
to eat salads.

I also eat yogurt with probiotic bacteria, Kefir, chili, and bolthouse
green drink. I know chili is a processed food but I think it's not too
bad for a processed food. It tastes good, it has protein, and the fat
content is not very high. Plus it has beans in it.

The most important nutritional supplements I take are fish oil,
vitamin D, chromium piccolinate, green tea extract, coenzyme Q10, and
R-Alpha lipoic acid. I make sure I get at least those every day, but I
also have a bunch of others I take every other day or so.

And I drink mostly green tea and water.

For exercise, I take long walks and I lift dumbbells.
I also have an aerobics exercise software on my computer that I
started using just a few days ago. It's called "Yourself! Fitness."

I also have hypnosis audio recordings to program my mind to exercise
and diet.

I feel a lot better now than when I started. I'm looking better and
feeling lighter.
