Yes, I did miss the bike. I discovered they close Cade's Cove in the
Smokies to auto traffic a couple mornings each week for walkers and bike
riders. I think this might be on my list of places to ride in the next
couple years. I saw quite a few cars with bikes loaded on the back.

Well done Beverley! I wish I could say the same about my holiday, but
Polish food (and especially Polish ice-cream and Polish beer) was simply
too delicious, and I did gain a pound. Oh well.... But the breakfast
buffet was too good to waste! On the plus side, think bowls of
raspberries and blackcurrants, topped with natural yogurt or buttermilk
and just a little sugar! Yummy!
